Dr. Skip Pilgrim received his Bachelor of Science in Bible and Missions at the Baptist Bible College (Springfield Missouri), followed by his Masters of Arts and Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University. Dr. Pilgrim is a 2007 graduate of the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy; has his Masters Credential in Reentry and Leadership from Wheaton College (Wheaton Illinois), and advance certification in Stress Management and Trauma Recovery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Pilgrim has over 30 years experience as a senior pastor and 9 years experience working for the Collin County Sheriff's Office as the Inmate Program Coordinator.
Dr. Pilgrim wants his clients to know from the outset that he will show them care and compassion throughout their coaching experience. He has a unique ability to understand the clients' presenting problems, enabling him to assist them in finding positive and healthy solutions. His desire is to always help his clients find hope, health and healing. Dr. Pilgrim's course of treatment for his clients is Christ-centered, evidenced based and designed to create a confidence and a passion for a healthy lifestyle.
